Steve J. Williams, MD.
Dr Williams is an Infectious Disease Specialist and has been taking care of nursing home patients for over 20 years. As an astute clinician, he recognized the challenges of antibiotic usage in long term and post acute care and set out to automate antibiotic stewardship. By creating IDSteward, he was able to transfer his knowledge of antibiotic safety to an easy-to-use software format that meets the metrics as intended by the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) mandate, better streamlining this complicated process.
